A Caseta was born from Francisco's desire to make specialty coffee more accessible, simple, and affordable in Portugal.

After several years working in business development and international trade, he discovered that coffee could be much more than an everyday drink. This curiosity led him to visit roasters, learn about different origins, and deepen his training in specialty coffee.

Throughout this journey, he completed certified training by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) in the areas of Green Coffee and Roasting, complemented by professional barista, sensory analysis, and latte art courses in Madrid, Barcelona, and Andorra.

But what truly shaped Caseta wasn't just the courses. It was the conviction that excellent coffee doesn't need to be complicated to be memorable.

Today, Francisco roasts and tastes hundreds of samples every year, selecting only the coffees he believes belong in the Caseta collection. The goal remains simple: to create balanced, consistent, and flavorful coffees that you'll want to drink again the next day.
