Why
Like many Portuguese people, our journey into the world of coffee began with our daily morning routine and the tradition of espresso throughout the day. Caffeine was also, from an early age, a companion linked to our passion for sports, especially cycling. Coffee became part of our day, at any time.
For years we searched in Portugal for a coffee that combined aroma, flavor, and authenticity. Either it lacked character, or it was too complex to be truly appreciated on a daily basis. Only when we lived abroad did we realize the true potential of coffee: we trained with leading professionals, visited roasters, listened to baristas, and discovered that coffee can be a simple, pleasurable, and accessible experience for anyone—not just a caffeine ritual.
Caseta was born from the desire to bring the Portuguese closer to specialty coffee, without complicating things. We roast single-origin coffees in an artisanal and sustainable way, always respecting those who produce them and those who drink them. We want anyone, beginner or not, to find easy-to-drink coffees here, full of flavor and roasted with purpose.
